Bookseller Review

A fantastic historical murder mystery that I couldn’t stop reading! Set in London,1598 when the country is in turmoil, as there is no named heir to the throne. A young heiress is murdered, and Sophia de Wolfe who was once a spy, now must play detective to find the truth. The plot, although complex, flows effortlessly and is fast paced. It is a delight to read with many twists and secrets in every chapter. Sophia is a brilliant character and the whole story really shines a light on how difficult life was for women in that time. Magnificent.
